I had just watched a segment of an interview with JINI where she got asked why she left- nervously responding with the old "it was personal matters but I'm so happy to be back". I agree that something must've happened for her to feel so emotional and make the decision so quick, so early on. I first got introduced to my first Asian artists with JPOP/JROCK in 1997 with L'Arc-en-Ciel and Namie Amuro, and same year I also began learning the Japanese language. Then, a few years later after discovering a few more Japanese artists I was first introduced in 2000 to BoA by an exchange student in my high school. I'm a year older than BoA. I got introduced to a couple other Korean artists, but very few really held my attention the way BoA did. I just loved her, and to this day, I own physical copies of every album in Japanese, Korean and English along with several DVDs/Blurays of her concert releases. She is a remarkable amazing artist. What saddens me though, is that where I live our music stores carry many of the KPOP artists, but never BoA's new albums when they release. I still have to buy hers online.

The truth is that Soyul became pregnant before getting married to another Idol named Moon He Jun and was forced to leave the group in 2017. That led to the group falling apart and disbanding. Maybe not the cause of the group failure but definitely the jumping off point!

Eu também tenho conhecimento envolvendo a empresa e o seu criador, mas é aquilo: XG não é k-pop... Korea's toxic and harsh culture will also fuck up the future older folks' ability to be as economically active as they can be. Going international for new kids on the block is a band aid solution when your culture encourages abusing and wearing out the rookies and the young in the prime. A whole society reform is needed or else Korea will follow in Japan's road to a shambolic economic and societal state.
